El Paso County is Colorado's most populous county and, on its own, makes up the entire 4th Judicial District. District and county courts share one Clerk of Court and one courthouse, the El Paso County Judicial Building in downtown Colorado Springs, so there is a single office to contact whether the case is a felony, a divorce, a misdemeanor, or a small-claims dispute.
There is no separate El Paso County case-search website; records are searched the same way as the rest of the state, through the Colorado Judicial Branch's statewide docket search filtered to El Paso County, or through the paid CoCourts service for a fuller register of actions. Neither tool includes tickets written by Colorado Springs Municipal Court, which is a city system, not a county one.
The clerk's office also runs a self-help center in the same building for people filing without a lawyer, and offers non-attorney e-filing for divorce, legal separation, and custody cases.

What is available online
The statewide docket search shows scheduled hearings and basic case data for El Paso County district and county courts; it does not show full case histories or documents. CoCourts, the Judicial Branch's paid vendor, provides a fuller register of actions covering many older and closed cases for a per-search fee. Non-attorneys can e-file divorce, legal separation, and custody cases directly with the court online.
Which clerk has your record
In Colorado, the clerk who keeps a file depends on which court heard the case. Check the court name on the case notice, citation, or order, then use the office and coverage details above to identify the record holder. Court names and responsibilities differ by state; a county clerk may not keep court case files. For federal cases, see the PACER guide. The full court structure is on the Colorado page.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a separate case search for El Paso County?
No. El Paso County uses the same statewide docket search and CoCourts tools as the rest of Colorado; just filter or search by El Paso County. There is no county-specific portal.
Which office handles a felony case in El Paso County?
The El Paso County Clerk of Court, since felonies are heard in district court and El Paso County is its own judicial district (the 4th). The same office also keeps county-court files.
Are Colorado Springs traffic tickets in the county court system?
Only if issued by a county-level agency such as the sheriff. Tickets written by Colorado Springs police go to Colorado Springs Municipal Court, a city court not covered by the county clerk or the statewide docket search.
How do I file for divorce without a lawyer in El Paso County?
The court offers non-attorney e-filing for divorce, legal separation, and custody cases, and the Self-Help Center in the Judicial Building (Room S101) can answer procedural questions, though staff cannot give legal advice.
