Privacy Policy

MyCourtFiles is a static informational website. We do not have user accounts, we do not ask you to enter personal information, and we never collect or store court records or data about the people named in them.

What we collect

Nothing directly. The site has no forms other than the search box, which runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing to us.

Analytics. We may use a privacy-focused analytics service or Google Analytics to understand which pages are read. Where Google Analytics is used, IP addresses are anonymized. You can block analytics with a browser extension or by declining cookies in the consent banner where it is shown.

Advertising. Display ads are served by third-party networks (for example Google AdSense). Those networks may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's ad settings and the Digital Advertising Alliance. Where a consent banner is shown, no advertising script is loaded at all until you accept; your choice is stored in your browser and honoured on later visits.

Affiliate links. Some links to commercial services carry a tracking code so the service knows you came from this site. The code identifies the site, not you.

Server logs. Our web server records standard request logs (IP address, page requested, browser type, time) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are rotated and deleted automatically.

Cookies

We set no first-party cookies of our own. Third-party ad and analytics services may set their own; see the sections above for how to opt out. Your consent choice, where the banner is shown, is stored locally in your browser and never sent to us.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Residents of California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with privacy laws may have rights to access, delete, or restrict processing of personal data.
