Summit County is in Utah's Third Judicial District with Salt Lake and Tooele counties. Although Coalville is the county seat, court business happens at the Silver Summit District Court in the Silver Summit area east of Park City, at 6128 Paintbrush Road, Suite A. Felony criminal, civil, divorce and custody, and probate cases for the county are filed and heard there, and the Clerk of the Third District Court at that courthouse keeps the files. The Summit County Clerk in Coalville is a separate elected office for elections, marriage licenses, and county business, not court cases.
The Summit County Justice Court sits in the same Silver Summit complex at 6138 North Paintbrush Road. It handles Class B and C misdemeanors, traffic citations, and small claims of $15,000 or less, and it keeps its own case files, calendar, and payment system. Park City runs its own municipal justice court for citations written by Park City police, so a ticket from a ski-town traffic stop may belong to the city court rather than the county court.
There is no free public name search for Summit County district-court cases. Case summaries are on Xchange, the state's paid subscription portal; parties can use the free MyCase service for their own case; and everything else runs through the clerk's counter or a written request.

What is available online
District-court case summaries for Summit County are searchable through Xchange, the state's paid subscription tool, for public documents filed since the court adopted the state's electronic case system; older Coalville-era files may exist only on paper. Sealed, expunged, and juvenile cases are excluded. The Summit County Justice Court posts its court calendar and accepts online fine payments, and its cases are also in Xchange, but there is no free public name search at either court. District-court counter hours were not posted on the pages we reviewed; the county justice court lists 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Which clerk has your record
In Utah, the clerk who keeps a file depends on which court heard the case. Check the court name on the case notice, citation, or order, then use the office and coverage details above to identify the record holder. Court names and responsibilities differ by state; a county clerk may not keep court case files. For federal cases, see the PACER guide. The full court structure is on the Utah page.
